Marrow Butter
8 oz grass fed butter
1/4 C bone marrow (or enough leg bones of red meat animals - to render that)
2 cloves garlic
parsley or basil (optional) Or any fresh herb of choice (optional)
1. Boil the bones for 10 minutes to loosen the marrow. (a little longer if it is frozen) Pull out and set aside to cool and handle. The marrow will be soft. Scoop marrow out of the middle of the bone.
2. Melt the butter, add the marrow and garlic and fresh herbs.
3. Throw all of that into a blender and until the garlic is pureed. Put it in a jar and store in the fridge.
