- Good for use in place of canned condensed soups. Sub almonds, tapioca, or arrowroot for grain free flour. You may also add gelatin for thickener.
1 1/2 C chicken, mushroom, or veggie
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp parsley
paprika
1 1/2 C milk
3/4 C flour
1. In a medium saucepan, boil broth. Whisk in 1/2C of milk and seasonings for a minute or two.
2. In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining milk and the flour. Whisk into the saucepan continually until thickened.
Yield: About two cans worth.
