Crock Flank Steak

1 1 1/2 lb. flank steak cut into quarters
1 T oil
1 large onion sliced
1/3-1/2 C water
1 4oz can chopped green chilies
2 T apple cider vinegar
1 1/4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper

1. In a skillet, brown steak in oil, put it the Crock.

2. In the same skillet, add onion and sate' in for one minute.

3. Gradually add water to loosen brown bits in bottom of pan.

4. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.

5. Pour over steak in Crock.

6. Cover and Cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours.

7. Slice or tear up meat and serve with its juices over egg noodles, rice baked potatoes, or mashed potatoes.
