Simple Chicken and Rice - crock

chicken
brown rice
chicken broth
carrots cut into 1/2 inch chunks
celery chopped
onions chopped
2 tsp basil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

1. Put about an inch of rice in crock.

2. Fill broth 1 inch above rice.

3. Add remaining ingredients.

4. Cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours.

5. May add anything that you think would taste good!
