4-5 roma tomato, sliced
7 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced
extra virgin olive oil
balsamic vinegar
salt and pepper
fresh basil leaves, chopped or cut into strips
grilled or toasted baguette slices (optional)
1. Layer, toast and piece of mozzarella on a platter. Than drizzle with balsamic, OO. Top with a generous amount of chopped fresh basil, then salt and pepper to taste.
2. This salad is headier with the toast, served like a topped cracker. However, it is delicious without the toast as well.
